PROJECT SCOPE:

iTech were engaged by the Main Contractor to take the BIM mode from the designed information through to a construction issue model. BIM was used to manage and coordinate all of the appointed sub-contractors engineering deliverables. The final model was executed for handover to the client for their future facilities management.

Mafraq Hospital serves as the community hospital for one of the fastest-growing areas in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. The project has been developed as a part of the redevelopment/replacement of the existing hospital. The newly built, modern facility will continue to provide medical services and updated state-of-the-art facilities, securing the hospital’s position as a leading trauma and surgery hospital. The new 739-bed general hospital consists of a two-storey basement, a three-storey podium, two-nine-storey and two-eleven-storey towers, and all associated peripheral ancillary buildings.
