Project name:                   Doha Metro

Project Size:                      ~300km and 100 Stations

PROJECT SCOPE:

Assisting several main contractors and sub-contractors with BIM Management and support services on multiple lines and stations. Packages include track infrastructure, track MEP, station interiors, and station MEP.    

The Doha Metro is considered one of the most advanced rail transit systems in the world with Phase I entering operation at the end of 2019.  The Metro consists of four lines; Red, Green, and Gold which are currently under construction, and the Blue line which is currently planned.  Tracks and stations will be a mix of underground, overground, and elevated parts with the system serviced by three-car driverless trainsets.    

Upon completion, the project will provide a major new seaport to the south of Doha, with an annual capacity to accommodate six million 20-foot equivalent units as well as a naval component.
