PROJECT SCOPE:

For the Doha Port redevelopment project, iTech worked on three (3) separate contracts for the infrastructure and streetscape works. For all three (3) contracts the brief has been the same; to take the IFC design information into an IFC model that is then developed, detailed, and coordinated into a construction model for the extraction of all shop drawings. The final models are all enriched with the required data for the client to utilize the benefits of BIM for future facilities management.

Upon completion, the project will provide a major new seaport to the south of Doha, with an annual capacity to accommodate six million 20-foot equivalent units as well as a naval component.
