PROJECT SCOPE:

The Main Contractor for Yas Mall required the construction sequencing to be studied in more detail with regards to the validity of the program of works and the potential logistical restraints that are not clear or apparent in a 2D medium. The project was 3D modeled and then interrogated to establish a valid 4D Model and Program Sequence proving, through virtual Construction, the Methodology for structural systems was valid and achievable.

The Yas Mall will be a regional facility that will provide in excess of 700 retail and catering units including four major department stores and hotels. The Yas Mall will serve not only the local and regional markets but also the tourist population visiting Yas Island’s host of tourist and leisure attractions, including Ferrari Theme Park and Formula One Marina Circuit.
